First off 01/25/2009

I apologize profusely for not having logged on in say...five months now? I have to admit, Twilight isn't exactly my favorite thing anymore. I adored it when it was just a trilogy. However, when Breaking Dawn was released, I realized something. 'I don't really like the way this book is written,' I thought to myself before diving back into the first three books. I then proceeded to discover that I didn't like the way any of them were written. And then when the books gained a cult following...well...Let's just say that when everyone else jumped onto the bandwagon, I sort of rolled off.
Not to say that I don't still think the books have some merit...They just weren't exactly my style when I looked deeper.
Which comes to my second point. I'm willing to continue running this website, if anyone wants me to. (Hence, comments and opinions on that would be wonderful.) I'm also willing to transfer own

Ohhh emmm geeeeeee you guys. Our first podcast is up! I have to say....I dunno how proud I am of it, considering Liz and I were both waaay hyper when we made it. XD That's what excitement will do to you, I suppose. But anyhow, go listen to the podcast and please, please, please leave your feedback for me in a comment on here or something! That would be quite awesome. Oh! And we have a myspace now. Go check us out. Befriend us. =D http://www.myspace.com/blurringboundariespodcast.

On another note, BREAKING DAWN COMES OUT TOMORROW! You have no idea how psyched I am. I'm going to the release party with Liz (the other girl on the podcast) and we're going all out. Costumes, hair dye, yeah. It's gonna be awesome. We'll post pictures sooner or later. If you guys go to any release party and dress up or something fun like that, please send me pictures! I'll totally make a new page to put them up in. =D

First, I would like to inform you guys about the solar eclipse that's going to happen on August first. (If you want to see more information, click here.) Does anyone other than me think it's kind of ironic and funny that the first eclipse for two years happens on the night that Breaking Dawn is released? O_o

Next, I'd like to talk about Comic Con! The Twilight panel was awesome. It consisted of Taylor Lautner (Jacob), Edi Gathegi (Laurent), Rachelle Lafevre (Victoria), Cam Gigandet (James), Kristen Stewart (Bella), Robert Pattinson (Edward), Stephenie Meyer, and Catherine Hardwick (Director). They answered a bunch of questions from both the host of the panel and the audience. (I will have videos up shortly.)

Highlights of the panel discussion:
- Poor Robert was completely confused the entire time. I'm not even kidding. The guy came across as...well...not terribly bright. But hey. I would be distracted too if I had a few thousand people screaming and cheering for me the entire time.
- One girl came up and asked Rob something along the lines of "How does it feel to be one of America's most wanted men? CUZ I WANT YOU!" ...His face was priceless. In fact, I have a picture of it. (which will be up shortly as well.) The guy had absolutely no idea how to respond.
- Kristen Stewart was really, really nervous. She couldn't stop fidgeting.
-We saw a new clip from the movie, which isn't all new...though most of it is. I however will not be posting the video for this...Though, if you really want to watch it, you can *cough* go over to *cough cough* this Youtube link. *wink* But I never told you that.
I will do a more indepth overview when I'm not so dead tired. =D

For the last week I was in Portland (which, incidentally, is an area where the shot Twilight). =D But now that I'm back, I have some more news for you guys.
First off, ONLY NINE MORE DAYS! I'm quite excited. I'm going to be going to the release party at my local Barnes and Noble, so that should be fun. (This is a link to the Barnes and Noble party.) For any of you that live near Powell's City of Books in Oregon, I envy you. *jealousy* For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, go look it up. XD
Next, who is going to Comic Con tomorrow? I've just discovered that you can only get autographs from the cast (!!!) if you draw a winning ticket. So cross your fingers for me, guys! If you want more information, you can find it here.
My last order of business is to tell you guys just how amazing The Host is. I just read it this last week, and for those of you who haven't read it yet, you most definitely should. =D
Anyway, I'll be back with more news soon.

First Post! 07/15/2008

This is the first ever update for Blurring Boundaries, a new fansite for the wonderful fandom of Twilight, by Stephenie Meyer. There are dozens of fansites out there, and I kind of decided to hop on the bandwagon. My name is Alyssa and I'm the moderator here. =D Hopefully, soon, I'll have some co-moderators. There may be a podcast in sight (cross your fingers) and we'll be hosting videos, artwork, fanfiction, and animations here. If you would like to submit anything to the site, email me at: BlurringBoundaries@yahoo.com.
So, yeah! Welcome to Blurring Boundaries and enjoy yourself. =D
